After graduating from San Francisco State University's Cinema Production program, Ashim worked at various film festivals before settling in Los Angeles. A Film Independent Fellow (Producing Lab & Fast Track 2025, Project Involve 2018) , Ashim has worked in film, television, commercial, and digital production. He has produced feature length, short form content and series for notable production companies such as RocketJump, Lionsgate, Hulu, Mitu and MACRO. Always interested in emerging tools to enhance storytelling, Ashim has also VFX Produced projects for Apple, A24, Universal, HBOMax and more.
Films include We’re All Gonna Die (SXSW 2024), directed by long time RocketJump collaborators Freddie Wong & Matt Arnold, Handle With Care (Completed), written and directed by Matthew James Thompson and starring Justin H, Min, Patel (Post Production) written and directed by Ravi Kapoor starring Utkarsh Ambudkar, Richa Moorjani, Kunal Nayyar, Danny Pudi, Kal Penn and more. His latest project, Nail House, a martial arts action comedy, is the second feature from RocketJump and is currently in post production.
